CDC Protocols

Covid Update

In response to the new CDC guidelines, as well as those coming from the Governor’s office the Deacons have updated the COVID protocols for use during our times of worship. Here is what they decided:

  • You will still be asked to call ahead and let the church office know if you are planning to attend worship.

  • You may enter the sanctuary through either the ramp door or the front door. The rear of the building will continue to be closed.

  • If you have been fully vaccinated, you no long have to wear a mask.

  • If you are not yet fully vaccinated, you will still be required to wear a mask.

  • A temperature check is no longer required.

  • We will still practice some social distancing by using every other pew instead of every third pew.

  • Handshakes and hugs are allowed for those who have been fully vaccinated.

  • Limited numbers of fully vaccinated singers will be allowed to sing from the platform during worship.

  • Hymnals and Bibles will be returned to the pews.

  • Printed Bulletins will be provided starting the first Sunday in June.

  • We will not pass the offering plates at this time but will continue to have them placed around the sanctuary.
